The 22# injectors arent cheap! You may have to get them direct from the US otherwise its close to $600 a set at pontiworld.
If you dont want to spend much money on it, take Mike up on his offer - he can adjust your chip to suit the injectors in there.
But honestly, you really need to get a bulb in the SES light. That will tell you if there are more problems. Trust me on this. When i first got my car i was chasing problems randomly until i finally listened to people and fixed the SES light. BEST THING YOU CAN DO!!! _________________ I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a bitch. |

One other thing that would be good for you is to update the ECM to a 1986 and up ECM if running MAF.
If you intend to go to MAP then a 1990-1992 ECM would be the way to go.
The reason why to update to 1986-1989 ECM is because they ran at a faster baud rate. More samples per second for you to look at when datalogging.
The 1985 ECM was a one off year and had 160 baud rate, I am pretty sure. While the 1986-1989 units had 8192 baud rate.
Just another couple of things to consider depending on how far you want to go. Converting to the newer ECM is all about taking the time to do the wiring. There are some guides on the internet that detail this process.
If the engine is running lean you should be able to tell via the spark plugs. |

| Unfortunately the 85 MAF's are different to 86-90, which are a bit expensive (although I know what you mean about crap data rates, I was using 160baud for a while until I found the right file) 85 were analogue and 86+ were digital |
