Hey there is life!

Hey Joshman, good to see you're still alive mate! The Camaro is well, not being driven as much these days [it only did about 1000 miles last year] because I ride the bike to work every day now. I try and take it out at least once a week to keep the cobwebs at bay.

What are you up to - still got the Z28 and the GTA?

There seemed to be quite a lot of dudes doing projects on their cars but it has all gone very quiet - I assume the projects are continuing, just no one's posting???

What y'all up to out there??

Are you running TPI yet on the Z28?

No TPI Sad - it's all just sitting here at work, all polished up and nowhere to go. It's pretty much all ready to go, just need to put it on - I need some new inspiration, tell me again how good the TPI on the GTA is Smile

The only thing I really wanted to get before I started was Ostrich, I can get around it by burning chips but Ostrich is the way to go.

The torque in the GTA! ... ahh... I love it. Nothing like having the balls right there ready to go.. (I sound like a hooker trying to get knocked up).
Not only that, but even just driving off from a stop, the exhaust note sounds pissed off.. you can hear that its in its peak torque, no waiting for the engine revs to wind up. LSX's can have all the turbo lag (without the turbo) because on the street, you'll be at the next light before their power has kicked in.
Besides, you can't really speed on the street anymore and the feeling of just cruising around with all that low end torque, go up a hill, no need to press the accelerator pedal further down... she'll just happily go up the hill in 3rd gear at low speed.

There... are you out in your garage yet?? Very Happy

GTA is fairly stock, all I've done is ceramic coated headers, 3" Hooker catback, new ignition bits, taylor wires etc.. new fan switch, 160 thermostat, magnum roller rockers/pushrods, throttle body coolant bypass, stewart alloy water pump etc etc... Nothing really to make it faster, just bits to make it more reliable and better Very Happy
